The face of America is changing. Increasingly, we are becoming a nation of elders. 77 million baby boomers began to come of age in 2010 ~ a virtual tidal wave of older persons. In Steuben County, the impact on individuals, families, taxpayers, and the entire health care system will be staggering.

Mission:

Steuben Senior Services Fund was created as a resource for seniors within Steuben County who want to age in place. Steuben Senior Services Fund strives to give all seniors the ability to safely age in place and foster connections with family, friends, healthcare providers, and community supports through technological services. Steuben Senior Services Fund will also provide education on the needs of the seniors and available resources within Steuben County.

Vision:

Steuben Senior Services Fund has a vision to “Empower Seniors to Age at Home”. We strive to help all seniors regardless of income within Steuben County.

Steuben Senior Services Fund subscribes to the following “HOME” values:

SSSF is governed by a 12-member volunteer Board of Directors and employs a small staff. The Fund is recognized by the IRS as a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, and donations to the Fund are fully tax-deductible.
