The solution is challenging, but doable: provide alternative, more appropriate , and more cost-efficient ways to meet many of the basic in-home needs of seniors. Our seniors deserve our best.

A large percentage of older people can manage quite well with in home care services such as those coordinated through the Steuben County Office for the Aging. These may include: home-delivered meals (Meals on Wheels), assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, shopping/errands, transportation, personal emergency response service such as Lifeline or Link to Life, respite for caregivers, other services which may evolve in response to community need, and Full Circle America.
